Second (Third) Edition of Philosophical Friday Journal

Here's a hypothetical common daily occurrences to start things off again:

It's a lazy summer afternoon, you lie on the bed, floating in that twilight zone between awake and asleep. You dream. In that dream you are in your house. You walk pass the phone in your house, and it rang. At that moment, you awoke to realize it was an actual phone ringing.

Not a very uncommon dream to have, perhaps. One of those dreams in the category where you have similar things such as seeing, in the dream, someone walking up to your front door, and opens it, only to realize the sound of door-opening was from the actual front door.

These are things that normally would've deserve no attention whatsoever, except this- the scenes (or, say, let's call em "plotlines") of your dream leads up to a point, an event, which corresponds to an event in reality. Usually the real event is a sound like a phone-ring or door-opening. However, to enable a smooth plot build-up to the point of that event, it would necessitate a very precise anticipation of when that particular event in reality would happen! But, how is it even possible to anticipate a phone-call or a door-opening down to the milliseconds? How does your dream, your mind, build up a plot-line that connects seamlessly with a completely spontaneous real event?

Fascinating... is that a short trip down the axis of the time-domain? What implications and applications does this have?

... I gotta think of something less... "dimensional" "hyperspatial" for next week...........

Let's start off end with this feature thing that I got from . The first ten people (well, 9, if excluding Glaudarien) will have their icon displayed on this journal, along with three of my favorite deviations from their gallery (top-three without having me look too far back- ahem). Obviously, I can't feature thumbnails without subscription, so I'll just give the links instead. *Honestly there's so much good stuff to comb through and pick from it is quite impossible to accurately denote a true top-three, so I just selected some things that strike me as interesting/unique.
